Winter Jam NYCOn Saturday, January 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., NYC Parks will host Winter Jam, the annual winter sports festival, in the Bandshell area of Central Park. This FREE event is presented by I Love New York and Lake Placid and is open to the public.

With Gore Mountain, we will blow snow (weather permitting) to create the ski resort setting for many exciting activities – entirelyfree! – at Winter Jam, including:
  • The Lake Placid Snow Field
    • Sledding and snowman-making encouraged!
  • Cross-Country Skiing
  • Snowshoeing provided by REI
  • Red Bull MetroRail, an open snowboard & ski rail jam
  • Learn to Ski & Snowboard with Mountain Creek
  • Doggie Snow Zone
  • Pride of New York Winter Market
  • Animal Tracking with the Urban Park Rangers
  • NY State Ski Resort Info Booths
  • Live Entertainment
