		A Mythical Mermaid Adventure! Dive into a magical adventure with marvelous mermaids and their seahorse friends. Dress up paper mermaids to take home and travel under the sea with a storytime that includes some of our favorite ocean books!		Saturday, October 4th 3 p.m. Ages 4 & up
		Author Visit: Kazu Kibuishi! We are bringing a little bit of Comic Con downtown with a visit from the author and illustrator of the bestselling Amulet series — Kazu Kibuishi! Watch him create illustrations live in the store, answer questions about your favorite Amulet characters or just pick up a book for him to sign!		Saturday, October 11th 12 p.m. Ages 6 & up
		Star Wars Reads Day! A long time ago, in a city, far, far away…wait that’s not right! Star Wars Reads Day is happening NOW and very close by! Celebrate reading, crafts, and of course, Star Wars for the third year! Join the fun by coming in costume and the Emperor has decreed that all Star Wars purchases will be 10% off that afternoon.		Saturday, October 11th 2-4 p.m. Ages 3 & up
		Author Visit: R.L. Stine!  It’s the time of year where everything spooky and scary comes to town and this event won’t disappoint! What better way to celebrate Halloween then to have Goosebumps author R.L. Stine visit? Scholastic’s resident fright master will be reading from and signing copies of his latest Goosebumps Most Wanted book — Zombie Halloween, plus all of your classic Goosebumps favorites!		Saturday, October 18th 2 p.m. Ages 6 & up
		Clifford’s Halloween Parade Celebrate ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins, pirates, and all of your favorite things about Halloween with Clifford! Come dressed in your best costume to make spooky Halloween treat bags, join Clifford in his Halloween Parade, and take part in a costume contest! The parade is sure to delight (not fright) young kids.		Saturday, October 25th 3 p.m. Ages 3 & up
